Sitting MLA Dr Bharath Shetty files nomination for Mangaluru North constituency

Mangaluru, April 18, 2023: Sitting MLA Dr Y Bharath Shetty  filed his nomination  from Mangaluru North constituency on April 18, Tuesday. Shetty along with a large number of supporters arrived at the Mangaluru Taluk Office and later submitted his nomination.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Earlier he offered special pooja at Kavoor Mahalingeshwara Temple and sought the blessings of the lord. Later, a procession was taken out from the Temple to Kavoor grounds.

Speaking at a meeting held at Kavoor Grounds, Dr Bharath Shetty said he  had the opportunity to serve as an MLA for five years and exuded confidence of winning the elections. He also said team work by everyone helped in the development of the constituency.

Former corporator, Congress leader Ashok Shetty, former mayor Purandardas Kulur and Shashikala joined the BJP on this occasion.

Mayor Jayanand Anchan, BJP leaders Krishna Shetty, Pooja Pai and others were present.
