Stabbing case takes new twist: False accusations made, allege students

Puttur, August 23, 2024: The alleged stabbing of a female student by a male student at the government college at Kombettu in Puttur, has taken a new twist with the student organization of the college alleging that the girl had made a false accusation. The organization has also demanded action against the girl and also her suspension from the college. It has also warned of severe protest if the demands were not met.

The students have also submitted a memorandum to the Puttur police and stated that a photo of the so called victim student  was circulated in social media and demanded action in this regard.

They said the girl by lodging a false complaint has tried to defame a student and have also demanded action against those who are defaming the accused student in this case in social media.
