Student falls off overcrowded bus at Thokkottu; escapes unhurt

Mangaluru, September 13, 2024: A student who was travelling on the footboard of an overcrowded city bus operating on the Talapady-Mangaluru route, fell down on the road when the driver applied sudden brakes at the Thokkottu flyover. Luckily the student escaped unhurt. A video of the incident has gone viral.
The incident took place on Wednesday morning. Mangaluru South Traffic Police have registered a case against the bus driver Mohammad Fayaz and conductor Muneesh alias Karthik for negligence.
