Sullia: “Illegal entry” by some people to KVG Polytechnic; complaint filed

Sullia, Oct 07, 2023: Dr Jyothi R Prasad (52), a member of the Academy of Liberal Education of Sullia and wife of Dr Renuka Prasad who has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the Prof Ramakrishna murder case, has lodged a complaint with the Sullia police alleging that a group of people had illegally entered the KVG Polytechnic at Kurinjibagh and had threatened the principal and staff.

Based on the complaint, cases have been registered under IPC Section 448, 506 and 34. The complainant has named her brother-in-law Dr Chidananda, his wife Shobha Chidananda, son Akshay KC, daughter Dr Aishwarya, relative Hemanatha KV, Jagadish Adtale and others as the accused.

She has said that she had been to Mangaluru recently when the accused illegally entered the polytechnic, took the mobile phones of the Principal and staff, gathered information about CCTV cameras and later returned the phones after threatening the staff.
