You will be welcomed by a designated health officer who will take you to the registration counter. He will assist you to do the registration and make sure you get your vaccination in the most courteous way.  The respect for the senior citizens here is commendable. “It is indeed a most comfortable and pleasing experience” said a senior citizen who had visited the Unity Covid Vaccine Centre. The entire procedure took a few minutes and we were asked to wait for 30 minutes in the resting room after the vaccination as a procedural protocol.  “Some of our friends had taken their shot in other places and their experiences were quite bothersome- situations were uncomfortable, unhealthy, crowded and not caring.

The government has authorised selected hospitals and health facilities to give Vaccine to people over 60 and for people with some medical history since over a month.  Private Hospitals were allowed charge Rs. 250/- per shot while Govt. hospitals to provide it at free of cost.

Good that the hospital takes care of everything. You only have to go there. They will do everything. The nursing staff has given all possibilities of after effects. They were very helpful.

We have taken the vaccine in Unity. My wife, sister and me on Wednesday afternoon. There were a lot people but the whole procedure took less than half an hour. The service given by the Unity staff is admirable. They are quite committed and caring. We did not register it earlier. Unity staff did everything. We got the vaccine certificate also.

Good. I had taken at KMC hospital. I went at 10 AM and had to wait for my turn till11-30. In between our turn, they have given vaccine to their own people. They made us wait till they finished their people. It’s horrible waiting in the hospital with mask and the fear of infection.
