Her visit and rituals garnered attention amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding her son, Udhayanidhi Stalin’s remarks on "Sanatana Dharma."
Durga Stalin, also known as Shanta Stalin, is a devout believer of the divine and a dedicated devotee of Kollur Mookambika, despite the contrasting ideological stance of her family. She is known for her frequent visits to temples. In the past, she has also visited several other temples.
During her visit, one of Durga Stalin’s friends offered a golden crown to the deity as a token of devotion. The temple authorities extended their respects and felicitated Durga Stalin for her visit.
