Mangaluru, September 10, 2024: Tanker drivers staged a flash protest near the BPLC plant at Panambur on Tuesday demanding fulfilment of several of their demands.

The tanker drivers have demanded that they be provided six to seven thousand kms trip every month as earlier instead of 2,000 kms as fixed now. As the drivers are getting just Rs 6 per every km covered, they are facing financial hardships, the protestors complained and also demanded that they be provided the 10 days festival leaves per year.
