Those protesting against farm laws are ’urban naxals,’ says Shobha Karandlaje

Karkala, Dec 22, 2020:    "The ’Tukde Tukde gang’ which had opposed the  Citizenship Amendment  Act is itself   resorting to protest against the new farm laws implemented by the Centre. Those protesting are not farmers, but urban naxals," alleged Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje.

 

Speaking to reporters at Karkala, Shobha said those  farmers from Haryana and Punjab who are protesting in Delhi are not real farmers.

On the farmers’ protest held in Karnataka under the leadership of Kodihalli Chandrashekhar, she alleged   the protest was politically motivated and a conspiracy against the government  by Congress leaders like DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah.

MLA Sunil Kumar, party leaders Mahaveer Hegde, TMC Chief Suma Keshav, TMC Vice President Pallavi and others were present at the press meet.
