Thousands of devotees participate in Polali Chendu

Mangaluru, Apr 12, 2018: The annual festival of the famous Polali Rajarajeshwari Temple witnessed the traditional Kade Chendu on April 11, Wednesday. The event takes place seven days after the commencement of the Chendu, which is one of the distinct practice of this shrine.
Thousands of devotees who gathered from various places played the Chendu. The five day festival will conclude with a grand Polali Rathotsava today.
The five day festivities at the shrine are wonderful celebrations with Kumara Teru, Hoo Theru, Soorya Mandala, Chandra Mandala and Pallakki Utsav held on different days.
Presently, the renovation works of the Temple are underway.
