Mangalore , Feb 5, 2013 : Tipu Sultan Nagar was inaugurated at Kudroli on February 4, Monday by District JD(S) Working President Vittla Mohammad Kunhi.
In his address, Kunhi commended the local corporator Abdul Azeez of the JD(S) for several developmental works undertaken in the area.
The corporator Abdul Azeez who also spoke on the occasion, claimed that he had undertaken developmental works worth Rs 2 crores in his ward. He also said the area has seen much development and interlocks have been laid on all streets.
The Corporator also informed that a sum of Rs 6.5 lakh has been spent on providing tap water facility and Rs 13 lakh for asphaltation of the road at Tipu Sultan Nagar.
Several leaders including K Poojari, President of Kudroli Nagarika Samithi, D M Aslam, President, Minorities Wing of District JD(S), DK, Ram Ganesh, District Chief Secretary of JD(S) and Ali Hasan, President, Mangalore Central Committee were present on the occasion.
