Manjeshwar, Nov 10, 2024: The Manjeshwar Police arrested two individuals early Sunday morning at Majir Palla near Varkadi on charges of plotting a robbery. The arrested suspects are Faizal from Ullal and Shaheed Aman from Tumkur. According to the police, four others who were with them managed to escape.

Around 3 AM, the Manjeshwar Police, while on patrol, noticed a suspicious car at Majir Pall and stopped it for questioning. During the inquiry, four individuals fled the scene. However, with the help of local citizens, the police successfully apprehended the remaining two suspects.

A scuffle broke out between the police and the suspects during the operation, resulting in injuries to both suspects, who were later admitted to Kasaragod General Hospital.

A gas cutter, gas cylinder, and other items were found in the seized car. The police suspect that this group was planning multiple robberies, including targeting banks. The police are currently gathering information about the absconding suspects and have launched a search operation to arrest them.
