Two killed as tanker hits bike at Padubidri

Padubidri, March 26, 2023: A motorcylist and pillion rider died when a tanker rammed into the rear of the bike on National Highway 66 near Uchila in Padubidri on Saturday evening.
The victims were identified as Subramanya (30) and Girish (26), both residents of Palimaru Avaralu Mattu.
The accident occurred in front of Mulur West Coast Nursery at Muloor as the Pulsar bike and the tanker were heading towards Padubidri from Udupi side. The tanker, which was coming from behind, reportedly rammed into the bike, resulting in the death of one person on the spot, while the other succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.
The Kaup police visited the spot to investigate the incident.
