Udupi, July 9, 2024: Fire service personnel have rescued four persons from inside their car after the vehicle got washed away in flood waters on the Kannarpady-Kadekar road on Monday.

The road was completely flooded due to heavy rains. Still those in the car decided to move forward and the car was washed away. Locals who noticed this, immediately alerted the fire service department. The fire service personnel along with locals later managed to rescue those in the car.
