Udupi, Jan 12, 2024: Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shobha Karandlaje has informed that Udupi Railway Station has been chosen for development under the Amrith Bharath Railway Station Development Project of the Union Government.

As part of the project the Railway Station at Udupi would be developed into a world class station with modern amenities. The development of the station would be a boon to tourists and pilgrims visiting the temple town and also people who visit various parts of the district, a press communique from the minister said.
