Udupi: Renowned saxophonist Alevoor Sunder Serigara passes away

Udupi, June 14, 2023: Renowned Saxophonist Alevoor Sunder Serigara passed away on June 14 morning. He was 76.
Sunder Serigara was also a famous Saxophone guru and was the first person to teach Saxophone to aspiring musicians. So far he has taught Saxophone recital to thousands of students.
He was the recipient of several awards including District Rajyotsava Award. He also had an Honorary Doctorate from the International Virtual Peace University. He is survived by a son and three daughters.
