Udyavar ATM robbery attempt: 2 arrested

Kaup, February 27, 2025: Kaup police have arrested two persons in connection with the recent burglary attempt in an ATM at Udyavar.
Those arrested are Aboobakker Siddique (24) from Asaigoli and Yasin (21) from Padil. Police have seized a two-wheeler, jacket, helmet, cap, hand gloves and knife used by the duo.
The robbery attempt took place during the wee hours of February 12. The duo had entered the ATM of Canara Bank at Udyavar and had escaped after a vain bid to rob. The two were arrested at Bunder in Mangaluru.
