Mangaluru, Oct 27, 2022: A man allegedly strangled his wife to death and later ended his own life in a shocking incident reported from Pilar in Ullal police station limits.
The couple have been identified as Shobha Poojary (45) and Shivananda Poojary (55). The reason behind this incident is not known. The couple’s son Karthik had tried to call his mother on Thursday noon. But when there was no response he alerted neighbours who rushed to their house only to find Shobha dead.
When a search was launched for Shivananda he was found hanging from a nearby tree.
