Mangaluru, Jul 23, 2021: Thieves who broke into a house at Mukkacheri in Ullal, after not finding any valuables, have  stolen the Ertiga car which was parked in the shed.

The house belonged to Absali who is  living abroad with his sons. The house was taken care of by driver Haneef, a resident of Atoor. However Haneef had  locked up the house and had gone to his native place for two days on account of Bakrid.  When he returned on Friday he found the main gate  open and the car missing. Later he found the thieves had even searched the house.

The thieves had entered the house by breaking open the doors of the first floor. The car key was kept behind the cupboard. The thieves had used the key to  steal the car.

Ullal Police have visited the place and are investigating.
