Ullal: Youth stabbed in front of his house at Kotepura

Mangaluru, Mar 04, 2023: A youth was stabbed by some assailants right in front of his house at Kotepura in Ullal Police station limits late night on March 3, Friday.

The victim Sadakatullah (34)  has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru. His condition is said to be critical.

 

Two of the accused have been identified as Chabbi alias Kabir and Razik. The assailants had summoned  Sadakatullah and had then stabbed him in his abdomen.

It is learnt  the victim and one of the accused had a dispute over a financial issue. It is said a team led by Sadakatullah had even attacked one of the accused some time back and a complaint was lodged in Ullal police station.

It is believed that Friday night’s attack was in retaliation to the previous incident.

Local MLA visited the hospital where the victim is undergoing treatment and enquired about his health condition. He has also asked  the police to nab the accused at the earliest.
