Uppinangady, Dec 09, 2021: Three persons sustained injuries in a serial mishap at Panjala near here on December 9, Thursday. At first, a lorry rammed into a car and then overturned. Meanwhile, another lorry which was behind the car too went out of control and overturned on the roadside.
The lorry that first met with an accident was going towards Nelyady from Melkar while the car was heading towards Mangaluru from Bengaluru. Melkar resident Santosh who owns a hotel at Nelyady, was in the car and has sustained injuries.
The drivers of both the lorries, Sheethal and Hemanth have also been injured and are hospitalised.
