Uppinangady, November 26, 2024: A bike rider who sustained injuries after his vehicle skidded on the slushy and pothole filled bridge across Kumaradhara river in Nekkilady, has lodged a complaint with the Uppinangady police against the NH widening contracting agency KNR blaming it for the bad state of the road.

The accident took place on the night of November 25 and the rider Abdurrehman received treatment at the hospital for his hand and leg injuries.


Bike skid


In his complaint, he said the neglect of the KNR company in undertaking highway works without completing service road works has resulted in mishaps. He said the company is to be directly blamed for the accidents on the road.
