Vasant S. Kudva, MD of CPC logistics, passes away

Mangalore, August 6, 2024: Vasant Srinivas Kudva (58), the Managing director of CPC Logistics Ltd., passed away this morning at 12:20 AM in a private hospital in the city after battling cancer. He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of the disease just last month, according to family sources. He is survived by his wife, Prarthana, and daughter, Tanvi.

He was the grandson of the legendary industrialist and visionary of the district, V. S. Kudva, and the son of Srinivas V. Kudva. He was the younger brother of Premnath S. Kudva, the current Chairman and Managing director of Canara Workshops Ltd. His mother, an elder sister and ayounger sister also survive him.

Vasant Kudva was born on October 14, 1965. He completed his primary schooling at St. Aloysius School, Mangalore and his high school education at Ramakrishna Vidyalaya in Mysore. He pursued his PU education at St. Aloysius College, Mangalore. After graduating in business management (BBM) from SDM College of Business Management, Mangalore, he joined CPC as a Director in 1992.

His mortal remains were kept for last respects at his brother Premnath’s residence at Matadakani, 3rd Cross Road and the last rites were performed at 4 PM.
