Vehicular movement banned on Shiradi Ghat during night

Mangaluru, Jul 23, 2021: Dakshina Kannada District Superintendent of Police Rishikesh Sonavane has said that  all vehicular movement has been banned in the Shiradi Ghat section of the National Highway during night time as a precautionary measure. It may be recalled here that there was  a landslide  at Donigal  near Sakleshpur on Thursday.

Vehicles are allowed to proceed via Charmady and Sampaje Ghats. The SP also said vehicles can ply on the Shiradi Ghat during day time provided the Hassan district administration permits the same.
