Vidyakumari takes charge as Udupi DC

Udupi, July 14, 2023: K Vidyakumari took charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Udupi district on July 14, Friday. Outgoing Deputy Commissioner Kurma Rao handed over charge to the new DC at Rajathadri. Additional DC Veena B N was also present.

Vidyakumari is a 2014 batch IAS officer. She was promoted from KAS to IAS. She has earlier served as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Udupi. She was also the Chief Executive Officer of Tumakuru Zilla Panchayat. Vidyakumari hails from Ullal.
