Vittal, March 24, 2025: A private bus which was operating dangerously on the Vittal-Mudipu-Mangaluru route since two days was intercepted by locals and handed over to the police on Sunday.
The bus named Sara was found defective as one of its rear left tyres was not functioning, while another tyre was ruptured and was making loud sound. Still the bus was operated least bothering about the safety of passengers. Locals eventually intercepted the bus at Salettur in the afternoon.
The Transport Officials of Bantwal were also intimated about this
