Vittal, Aug 08, 2022: A two-wheeler rider lost his life in a head-on collision between his Activa and a jeep near the Ukkuda check post on the  Vittal-Kasargod Highway on August 8, Monday.

The  rider Dinesh who sustained serious injuries in the mishap, was rushed to a private hospital in Puttur and from there to a hospital in Mangaluru. However his life could not be saved.

It is learnt,  his two-wheeler had hit the jeep while trying to overtake.
