Vittal ,November 14, 2024: Traffic on the Maani-Mysuru State Highway was hit after a huge tree fell over a lorry near Mithur on Wednesday night. The incident took place during heavy rains at night.

The tree fall resulted in a serpentine queue of vehicles on either sides. Several vehicles later took an alternate route.

The authorities who rushed to the spot, cleared the road of the tree branches and ensured smooth movement of traffic.
