Udupi, Mar 21, 2024: CID officials who investigated the washroom video case reported from a private paramedical college in the city have filed a charge sheet in the Udupi Principal and JMNF Court. The charge sheet has mentioned that investigations have proved that students Shabanaz, Alfiya and Alimath Ul Safa had placed the mobile phone in the washroom to videograph their classmate.

 

The charge sheet has mentioned that the investigation has proved that accused students had videographed another student instead of their friend and later had deleted the video in order to destroy evidence.

The charge sheet mentioned that the accused students had the habit of making funny and prank video and had made the video by placing the mobile phone in the washroom. However when they realized that they had made the video of another girl and not their friend, they had approached the former and had apologized. Later the management of the institution had inquired into the case following which the girls admitted their mistake and had written an apology letter.

The FSL report has tallied the handwriting of the accused girls and the handwriting in the apology letter and confirmed that both match, the charge sheet has stated.
