Mangalore, May 3: The valedictory ceremony of a week-long youth camp organized by the social welfare unit of Spandana Trust at Infant Mary’s Convent was held on May 3, Tuesday.
Sr. Wilma Pinto, the headmistress of St. Gerosa Higher Primary School, was the chief guest of the event. She said that the participants made best use of the opportunities given to them during the camp and developed leadership skills. Speaking in appreciation of Spandana, she said that the organization has held the best personality development camps among children.
Velored Director Renny D’Souza, organizers Suresh, Jayakar, Kasturi, and Sr. Emma Joseph, the head of the convent, were the dignitaries on the dais.
Sr. Evangeline, the administrative officer of the social welfare unit of Spandana Trust, Jeppu, delivered the welcome address. Mrs. Teertha proposed the vote of thanks, and Victor Vas, the coordinator, was the MC of the event.
