Wife, son of underworld don Ravi Poojary arrested in Mumbai

Mangaluru, Dec 23, 2014 : The Mumbai police have on December 22, Monday arrested the wife and son of notorious underworld don Ravi Poojary.
It has been gathered that the two namely Sridevi Santosh Poojary and Aryan Santosh Poojary were apprehended as soon as they arrived by a flight from Dubai at the Mumbai airport. The immigration officials who took them to custody initially later handed them over to the Mumbai Police.
Here it is worth mentioning that Ravi Poojary is a most wanted criminal in several cases including that of extortion, murders and life threats.
It has been learnt that the Kadri Police would be going to Mumbai to bring the two to the city.
The Kadri Inspector HN Venkatesh Prasanna had in the year 2012 requested the higher officials to issue lookout notices against the family members of the elusive fugitive.
