Woman accuses social activist Keshav Koteshwar of sexual harassment; files complaint

Kundapur, Nov 28, 2017:  A woman working in the Spoorthi  Rural Development  and Training Society  of Kedoor in Kundapur taluk, owned by noted social worker Keshav Koteshwar, has lodged a police complaint against  the latter accusing him of  cheating and sexually harassing her.

The woman has alleged that  she was  not paid her salary arrears  amounting to Rs 1.5 lakh and that Keshav Koteshwar  harassed her  when she demanded  that her dues be cleared. She has also complained that  Keshav Koteshwar has also taken possession of her scooter, gold bangles weighing 16 grams and a cheque of Rs 2000 which she  was given by a well-wisher in recognition of her services.

She has stated that her raising the issue in the general body meeting of the society did not yield any result as other office bearers failed to support her.

The woman  has  sought the help of Mahila Santhwana Kendra  Chief Radha Das  in her fight for justice.
