Mangalore, March 8: By demonstrating street plays in different locations of Mangalore city, the students of Besant Women’s College celebrated the International womens day on March 8, 2010. 

 

 

 

The Students in black dress tried to impart a comprehensive knowledge about women in the society, their life style and problems faced by them, through this street plays.  The astute performance of student’s was also passing the message of, how women’s are independently leading their life in the society.    

Apart from social life, their performance focused on major issues like women’s trafficking, domestic violence, eve teasing etc.

 
The demonstration took place in five major places like District Commissioners office, Central market, PVS, SDM College and Besant Womens college.
