Young pair end lives in Sullia lodge

Sullia, Oct 20, 2020:    A young pair  has committed suicide at a lodge in Sullia. The deceased are Darshan Gowda, son of Timmappa Gowda of Aivarnadu and Indira, daughter of Sheshappa of Kalkaje near Dharmasthala. Both are 19 years old.

 

It is learnt the two had rented a room at a lodge in Sullia on the night  of October 18 stating that they do not have bus to return to their hometown.  It is learnt Darshan had booked the room  by providing the documents relating to the girl. However on October 19, the two were found hanging inside the room.

Darshan who was a tapping worker had in the past worked in the same lodge. It is learnt, he had come along with the girl  telling his family that he was going on a tour with friends. His mother too had spoken to him as well as the girl over phone.  The exact reason behind the extreme step is not known.
