1 dead, 2 injured as car rams into tipper, tree at Hosabettu

Mangaluru, September 30, 2023: One person lost his life and two others sustained injuries when a Fortuner car in which they were travelling rammed into a tipper and then into a tree near the Jyothi Service Station at Hosabettu at around 3.30 am on September 30, Saturday.

The car driver Arjun died on the spot while two others namely Mohammad Fizan and Aniridh Nair sustained injuries. The car was of Tamil Nadu origin and is completely mangled due to the impact of the collision. The car was heading towards Suratkal from Mangaluru when the mishap took place.

Locals and police had a tough time in getting out those stuck inside the car.
