1 dead, 2 injured in tragic road accident

Mangalore, Mar 11: A student died and two others sustained injuries when an autorickshaw collided with a city bus near Nanthoor Padav on March 11, Thursday. 











The deceased is Mohammed Muzeen (19) of Subhash Nagar in Moodubidri. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a local hospital before he died. His classmate Mohammed Mujambil of Moodubidri and Narayan Poojary, the driver of the autorickshaw, are recovering in hospital. 

The students were going to their college in Kadri after getting down from a bus at Nanthoor. Reportedly, the city bus was on the wrong side and its driver stands accused of rash and negligent driving. 

Mangalore East traffic police have registered a case.
