15 passengers injured in express bus-lorry collision near Hejamady

Udupi, June 12, 2024: As many as 15 passengers of a private express bus were injured in a collision between the bus and a lorry near Hejamady toll plaza on Tuesday evening.

The bus hit the lorry from the rear after it came to an abrupt halt after the driver noticed a pothole on the National Highway.

The bus was badly damaged in the mishap. The driver and conductor of the bus were also injured. All the injured have been hospitalized.
