2 VHP leaders, 1 BJP leader booked for provocative speech

Udupi, Aug 04, 2023: VHP leaders Sharan Pumpwell and Dinesh Mendon have been booked for making provocative speeches during the protest organised at Udupi on August 3, Thursday  by the VHP and Bajrangdal district units to demand a thorough probe into the washroom video case.

 

In the protest held in the parking area near the Rajangana of Udupi Krishna Mutt, Sharan Pumpwell had reportedly said that a befitting reply would be given to the Jihadi demons by the Hindu saviours. He also urged Hindu mothers to take up arms in the hands that hold ladles when there is injustice.

Similarly even Dinesh Mendon made a provocative speech, it has been alleged. A police officer on security duty has registered a case and is investigating.

Meanwhile Veena Shetty of BJP has also been booked for her speech during a protest by BJP wherein she reportedly said that Muslim girls must not be given admission to schools and colleges and that they should go to madarasas.
