2 critically hurt as lorries collide near Nantur Circle

Mangalore, May 6, 2014 :  A collision between a truck and a sand laden tipper at Nantoor Circle on May 6, Tuesday morning  left the drivers of both the vehicles critically injured. The accident occurred during the wee hours.

According to eye witnesses the truck laden with Coca-Cola soft drink cans was over speeding resulting in the mishap. The truck heading towards Kerala collided with the sand lorry  which was heading towards the city.

 
Both the vehicles overturned and the Coca Cola boxes rolled on to the road. The accident also uprooted a traffic police circle in the area.

Kadri police have rushed to the spot.
