25-bed Isolation Ward ready at Wenlock Hospital for Covid patients

Mangaluru, Dec 28, 2022: A 25 bed Isolation Ward has been set up at the District Wenlock Hospital in Mangaluru as a preparatory measure  in the event of  the necessity of treatment for any  person arriving from abroad  who tests positive for Covid-19.

 

Already people arriving from abroad  are being subject to Covid test at the Mangaluru International Airport. In case Covid is confirmed, then the  samples are sent to the genome sequencing lab.
