4 arrested for illegally collecting Halmaddi wax from reserve forest

Bantwal, October 8, 2024: Forest officials have arrested four men from Kedila on the charges of illegally collecting Halmaddi wax from the reserve forest area at Kalanjimale near Vittal and transporting the same in an autorickshaw.

Those arrested are Mohammad Hassainar, Ummer Farooq and Ali Hyder. Police seized 11 kg of wax and the auto used by the accused.
