74th Republic Day celebrated in Mangaluru, Udupi

Mangaluru, Jan 26, 2023: The 74th Republic Day was celebrated at the Nehru Maidan here on January 26, Thursday with patriotic fervour. Dakshina Kannada District in-charge Minister and State Minister for Kannada, Culture and Energy Sunil Kumar unfurled the national tri-colour and received the guard of honour.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deputy Commissioner M R Ravikumar, ZP CEO Dr Kumar, Mayor Jayananda Anchan, Deputy Mayor Poornima, Western Range IGP Dr Chandragupta, City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar, SP Rishikesh Bhagwan, City Corporation Commissioner Akshy Sridhar, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLC Harish Kumar and others were present.

In Udupi too Republic Day was celebrated with a great sense of pride and patriotic spirit. Minister for Fisheries and Udupi District in-charge Minister hoisted the National Flag. Udupi Deputy Commissioner Kurma Rao, MLA Raghupathi Bhat, officials and elected representatives were present.
