Addoor bridge’s iron guard damaged

Bantwal, December 16, 2024: The iron guard of the Addoor bridge aimed at preventing heavy vehicles from entering the dilapidated bridge was damaged after an unidentified vehicle rammed into it. The incident is learnt to have taken place late night on Saturday.

It may be recalled here that heavy vehicles have been banned on the bridge and iron guards have been installed on either sides of the bridge. Meanwhile, locals who are inconvenienced due to ban on movement of  buses on the bridge, have been pressing for alternate arrangements.
