After heated argument with lover, driver leaves bus mid-way

Udupi, July 5, 2024: In an interesting incident, the driver of a private bus who had an altercation with his lover, later in a fit of rage stopped the bus mid-way and went away leaving the passengers in lurch. The incident took place on Thursday in a bus operating on the Udupi-Santhekatte route.

A young woman said to be the lover of the driver had boarded the bus at Nittoor. Later the woman and the driver had an altercation over some issue. The conductor tried to pacify the two but in vain. Ultimately, the agitated driver  got off his seat  near the Ashirvad theatre and left the place. His lover too followed him.

It is learnt, later the conductor himself sat on the drivers’ seat and drove the bus to its destination.
