Agonized over husband’s death, Anganavadi teacher ends life

Karkala, November 15, 2024: An Anganavadi teacher who was deeply agonized over the death of her husband about a month ago, has ended her life by jumping into a well near her house at Miyar Kuntibail Manjadka.

The deceased is Sowmya (39). She worked at the Anganavadi near the Miyar church since the past 15 years. Her husband had died a month ago. The couple have left behind two daughters.
