MangaloreFeb 8, 2013 : Air India Express would be introducing flights on the Dammam-Mangalore-Calicut sector from March 31. This move by Air India Express will be a great boon to thousands of people hailing from West coast and northern Malabar region, who are working in Saudi Arabia.
The flights would operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The flights will depart Mangalore at 5 pm and land in Dammam at 7.10 Saudi time. They will leave Dammam at 8.30 pm local time and reach Mangalore on Thursdays and Sundays at 3.20 am.
As part of summer schedule, Air India Express will also operate triweekly Kochi-Mangalore flights.
The flights will depart from Mangalore at 8.25 am on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and the arrival time in Kochi is 9.25 am.
The flights will take off from Kochi at 4.25 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and arrive in Mangalore at 5.25 pm.
