All-religion meet pays homage to late Pope Francis

Mangaluru, April 26, 2025: An all-religion meeting was held at the Milagres Church grounds on Friday to pay homage to late Pope Francis.

 

 

Dr Mohan Alva, Chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation, Fr J B Saldanha, PRO of Mangaluru Diocese, Mohammad Monu, former TP Chief spoke on the great virtues of Pope Francis which they said would be the guiding light to the society.

Mangaluru Bishop Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop Emeritus Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, DK MP Capt Brijesh Chowta, MLAs Vedavyas Kamath, Harish Poonja, Congress leader Padmaraj Poojary, BJP leaders Anil Thomas, Satish Kumpala, former minister Ramanatha Rai and others were present.
