Anti-drug team seizes 53 grams of MDMA in Mangaluru, arrests man

Mangaluru, November 30, 2024: The anti-drug team on Saturday arrested a man and seized 53 grams of MDMA from his possession in Mangaluru.

Commissioner of Police Anupam Agrawal said that the arrested is Mohammed Alfaz, alias Alfa Pablo (24), a resident of Indabettu in Belthangady. The police have recovered MDMA, smoke pot, a car, and two mobile phones. The value of the seized property is Rs 7,76,980. The arrested was a drug peddler supplying drugs to other middlemen.

It may be recalled that the anti-drug team had arrested three youth for allegedly possessing 50 grams of MDMA at Pajeer on the city’s outskirts recently. The arrested Alfaz, was supplying MDMA to the three arrested youths. In two separate cases, the police have seized a total of 103 gram MDMA and properties worth Rs 15.52 lakh.
