Anu Sharma installed as the new President of Port Town Advanced Toastmasters

Mangaluru, July 25, 2024: The new team of office bearers of Port Town Advanced Toastmasters (PTAT) for the year 2024-25, led by President Anu Sharma, was installed at a glittering function held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Hotel Ocean Pearl, Kodialbail. Dr Ravishankar Rao, former professor, Department of English, Mangalore University was the chief guest. The programme, based on the theme of Shravan, was presided over by the outgoing president Dr. Malini Hebbar

Toastmasters Area Director Sophia Zacharias administered the oath of office to the office bearers for 2024-25 in the presence of District Director Savitha Salian, Division Director Jyothika Shetty and Vice President Education Sangeeta Fernandes. The new team comprises Anu Sharma (President), Sangeeta Fernandes (Vice President Education), Malini Mukund (Vice President Membership), Khushboo Bansal (Vice President Public Relations), Vidya Shenoy (Secretary), Frenil D’Souza (Treasurer) and Davin Pinto (Sergeant-at-Arms).

Dr. Ravishankar Rao delivered a profoundly moving and impactful address, shedding light on the different meanings and dimensions of Shravan.

District Director Savitha Salian, Outgoing President Malini Hebbar and Dewabrat Mandal, the Executive Chef of Ocean Pearl, Kodialbail were felicitated on the occasion.

Division Director Jyothika Shetty inducted the new members Kanchan Ruchi Sharma and Vidya Attavar. The Club Charter President Dr. C. K. Ballal, Amith Sharma, husband of the newly-installed president Anu Sharma and Office Bearers of Toastmasters Division congratulated the new team.
