As soil loosens due to rain, fears of landslide at Ottinene

Byndoor, July 17, 2024: A hill at Ottinene near Byndoor is facing collapse due to incessant rains since the past few days.

A part of the hill was excavated for the National Highway four-laning works. Now a hill adjacent to the highway is facing collapse with soil loosening. The motorists have to travel on this road fearing their lives as a landslide seems to be imminent due to heavy rains.
