Banners banning Muslim traders during Kadri Temple fair, removed by police

Mangaluru, Jan 20, 2023: Police on January 19, Thursday removed the controversial banners put up  near the Kadri shree Manjunatha Temple by the VHP and the Bajrangdal stating that Muslim traders are not allowed to carry out business during the fair, has been removed by the police.

 

The Kadri Temple fair which began on January 15  will be held till January 21. The Kadri Temple comes under the Endowment Department and the Temple management had resented the banner though no complaint was lodged. The police  removed the banners in  view of maintaining law and order.
